Welcome To The Indie Update
What with this being the first post, it seemed like a suitable time to say hello.
The Indie Update blog will keep you udpated on the world of the Independent Musician. We’re not here to simply disparage the name of the major record labels, although I’d be lying if I said we wouldn’t be doing any of that, but we’re here to keep you informed. Whether you’re an independent musician yourself, or you simply love the Indie scene then we’ll try to keep you abreast of the times as far as possible.
We’ll throw in reviews of some of what we believe to be some of the more promising independent bands and musicians out there. Obviously, we can’t get around to review every independent there is so if you know of any worthy candidates that you feel deserve a mention or you have any news regarding the Indie scene let us know. We’ll try our best to give it a mention.

I really do like the idea of this blog. A site dedicated to the Indie base of our current music is a refreshing change to all the sites out there that raves about the latest compact disk by all of the big names in the music industry. However, due to people not knowing who the musicians in the Indie group is, it might be hard to find many people to post and visit such a site. I would recommend a brand new layout with more features, a better organization system, direct links to the bands myspace, lyrics to their songs, and so on. Expand the site, make it more relevant and it has a good shot at becoming popular.

Hello.This blog have helped me quite a lot frankly.I read about almost everything i wanted to know more about.Me and many more other people i know , highly appreciate indie music/artists and to be able to read more about it makes it very interesting and quality time spending.
