Watching the Jupiter Sunrise
For those that are Indie Rock fans, there are new sounds that are meeting the beat with melodies and lyrics that will send you to a different planet. One of the rising stars in this genre is Jupiter Sunrise, an Indie Rock band based out of New York and LA. The band, Jupiter Sunrise, is made up of 5 talented members, all which carry an equal weight in making the rock music carry a better name. The band not only is quickly gaining recognition in the world of rock music, but also has created an ideal of where they want to see music go, including a creation of community and a connection from the band to the fans as a way to create inspiration from their music. Their debut album, "Under a Killer Blue Sky" is continuing to tour it’s way around the US and Europe. You can find this, as well as a set of their posters on www.jupitersunrise.net or on My Space. They are expecting to begin another tour in 2007, with a release of more great rock music.

They are garbage, I don’t see them doing anything past this current project.

I think you calling them garbage is a bit harsh, but to each their own. As for me, first of all, they don’t sound like the typical rock band that comes out these days, with the same “follow the sheep” lead vocals. They also bring back a classic rock vibe, and show that you don’t always have to scream over the mic to make a great song. I suggest checking out “Cherry Wine”. It’s definitely worth a listen.
