It's a shame I didn't hear about this band until they had already broken up. I really enjoyed listening to them. I'll continue to enjoy them since I have their page bookmarked. From reading the above replies, it almost seems like their fan base is growing even though they have broken up.

That's exactly why they are keeping the page up from what I hear. Fans still frequently go there. The Beatles will never be together again, but there are several Myspace pages of them so that fans can still hear their music. In fact, there are literally thousands of bands that are not together that have a website, either because the fans have made a tribute page, or the bands themselves have.

Well, since it's a myspace, the band isn't paying for it. They are keeping the songs up for old fans, I believe. It doesn't do any harm, I don't see why they should take it down. I actually give them kudos for keeping it up, otherwise I wouldn't have found out about them!

Eh, they kind of sound like every other mainstream punk band I know. However, I do have to agree that the vocals are really strong, and it really pulls through for these guys. It makes me want to listen to more, even though I've heard better. I do agree that it's a pity that they're splitting. Plenty of bands split apart and may or may not make a bigger name for themselves.

@ Austie
Why should they keep a website for their songs if they are not planning to stay as a group? It would be better if they close it, since they don’t have any plans to make a song together. I mean, what’s the point of making their own website if the group doesn’t’ exist. Websites are used to promote their group right?

If this is the case then they should disable the website because they are paying for it.

It's such a shame these guys broke up. I think they actually had a good thing going on here. It's great their page was still left up for the fans, and I think Ausqtie has an interesting point here. I am sure these guys aren't out of the music business altogether, and solo projects could be something to come in the future.

Since the band has released they are no longer going to be together the reason for the site staying may be to promote their music into a solo format and to keep fans informed of any such venture. Vocals that are as good as theirs are sure to score them some interest into to either joining with some other group or playing alone.

As the article already stated on the opening remarks, this guys are good. I won’t be surprise if one day the music they made will be heard from different part of the world.

I think Sullivan is planning to be solo. I know a lot of guys turning solo and have succeeded. Sullivan may yet become famous himself without the group by his side.

Um..."this really happens for this band?"

I agree that strong vocals will, indeed, carry the day for any band. It did for The Beatles, it did for The Rolling Stones, The Who, and even Elton John. That's a given.

Sullivan, though, won't be having anything new "happening" in the future, seeing as to how the band broke up. They are being nice to their fans and leaving their site up for a bit...but they're basically history.

Attagirl, I think that's true to an extent. Strong vocals can take a band very far, and can even save the band in some cases. I have noticed that with many bands that are popular today, not the greatest music, but amazing vocals. It's kind of funny how vocals can make or break a band like that.
