Personally, I would have to say that "Don't Trust the Teachers" is my personal pick. Frankly, I thought I might not like this group's songs or style at all, but I decided to check out their MySpace page and listen to the samples.

What I like, stylewise, is the fact that Canon conveys emotions well without resorting to angry screaming or yelling. They do well when they express cynicism or sarcasm without being "in your face" about it.

Musically, they are good in harmony, contrasts in timbre and tempo, and the use of lead vocals with the keyboards.

Myspace is definitely a great marketing tool, but the music also speaks for itself. These guys are awesome. It's kind of cool they mention King Crimson as an influence. I've always liked that band even though they are before my time. Then again most the greats are before my time, but music will always live on.

Anyways, I love the keyboard work, love the vocals, and love the lyrics. SOS is short, sweet, and brilliant, but my favorite is definitely Master. The vocals are brilliant.

I like the website design on Myspace. I think this will have a factor on them becoming a well known figure in the music industry. The only thing that I could say is to grow their friends because their friends will help them become more popular. I can see that they don’t have a banner yet on their site. They only have one video on their space, putting some more video will make their page become more attractive.

They have some very interesting sounds. I am already loving these young group. I like everything that I can hear so far on their Mypace page.

Do they only have one album out now? If they have more than one, which do you recommend? I'd really like to hear more of their stuff.
