Sometimes it amazes me how some of the best bands end up breaking up. Now I don't Like Lions is one the best bands I've ever heard, but they definitely have a lot of potential. I 100% agree about "Cheap Seats". This one is download and listening to over and over worthy.

Another one bites the dust... yeah lame I know, I could not think of anything better. It just frustrates me that some of these groups do not give it long enough to work out. They are broken up before anyone ever has half a chance to hear them. Anyone who matters that is.

This is the reason why staying up to date is hard for some websites. A band could be together one season and the very next they are broken up and moving in different directions. I am glad to see that someone knows about the band and could offer similar sounds for those of us who really like the music. I am sad to see that someone I just found out about is already broken up.

I'm glad you recommended "Cheap Seats," because that really sent me in the right direction when I loaded their myspace page. Honestly, if I had started with "Sea Beds," I might have closed the page right there. I'll give it up to them though, at least the music varies.

Like Lions broke up last year. They all have other projects there working on or families they're raising.

Check out We Are Castles for a similar sound. It's being managed by Honeycutt who was the guitar player in Like Lions.
