There are so many different subcultures within music, aren’t there.
I’m a fan of hard rock, thrash, and death metal, but not so much nu metal – although P.O.D are OK. The problem is the merger between rap and metal – I can’t stand the rap part.
Rock music was very popular during the 90’s here in our place and during that time I preferred listening to slow rock and a few alternative songs than trash metal. I would agree that the combination of rap and rock is not so good. Linkin Park would probably be an exemption if that would be an example for it.
