I personally like them for some reason. Maybe it's the 'fun' sort of sound they pack in their songs, or maybe it's the strong instrumentals, but Change of Pace has really grown on me since I heard of them. I'm thinking that these guys have the capability of getting more popular if they do the right things at the right times.

I'm kind of torn on this band. They sound typical, true enough, and you can hear this sound just about anywhere, but their instrumentals are really tight. I think that is what differentiates them from the other million and one bands that are similar to them. And I don't really know why, as this type song is usually not my style at all, but I like "Weekend Warriors" quite a lot. There is nothing special about the song, and I just can't put my finger on why I enjoy it so much (maybe it's just a catchy tune, or maybe its the lead guitar..because it is definitely not the vocals), but I'd recommend people give it a listen.

I'm a little in the dark here but could someone enlighten me as to what the genius marketing tactic was?

Having listened to their stuff for the past week or so I can;t really say that I find anything too great in their music that I can't get elsewhere. It's just the usual over driven guitars with half decent melodies, reminds me of about a million other bands.

At least they have kept the screaming to a minimum if at all.
