The Toronto band Aphasia became Lye and their fan base increased due to their high energy set but the drummer and guitarist pulled the plug on the band when the music took second priority to the now famed ‘showboat’ set.

Ah, too bad they decided to part ways last year. They definitely had chemistry together as a band and put out some good tunes. Love the female vocals though. I can’t say that I have ever heard of this band though before now, but I would definitely be interested in hearing some of their older work as well.

Well, one thing is for sure. I love the name of the band. Very alluring, and I like that in a band. I also enjoy female leads in bands, simply because I always thought that they had a better voice for singing than guys, who seem to always have a shakier voice when it comes to lengthy phrases and higher pitches. Could just be me. These guys are alright though, and is a nice change of pace to listen to.

Since I have never heard of any of the above mentioned names of this band or others with similar or same name. I would have to say that it is interesting to say the least. I thought this is why people check names. But none-the-less I am checking out this band. Typically I do not listen to bands with female lead if they are classified as rock or alternative, because women just do not have the hard sound. But I will give them a chance and then come and let you know what I really think.

Nice musiz
After a very long time I am hearing quality Heavy duty(metal) music. All there tracks are fine and also I didnot know they are from japan i.e. from asian country. They make really good music.
