I agree with the points purpleband-aid makes. We are all individuals with individual musical tastes – “what may be right for you,” as the ol’ TV show song goes, “may not be right for some.” So yeah, some might not like this band or its style of music, but I don’t see why no one else should like it….and I happen to have grown up with an eclectic taste in music!

I’ll clap my hands to this band and shading-scars maybe people have a different taste in music just because you dislike it don’t mean others can’t enjoy this type of music. You see I grew up with gospel music and now I listen to everything but rap I dislike rap it has no meaning.

I have heard so much about Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, but have yet to actually hear anything from them. They seem to appeal to my younger sister and her friends, and she has mentioned really liking them. I love great sound effects, so I might have to give this band a chance.

I am going to have to not clap my hands, and instead say no. I listened to some of their music and I did not enjoy it at all. They may sell out at a few ventures, but that is up to the fan base and location. However it did not appeal to me and I do not think many around here would like it too much either. The mentioned song, “Satan Said Dance?” was not very well written at all.

They definately have an interesting sound. You’re right it may not be everyone’s flavor of music, but for people like myself who enjoy all types I actually like their sound.

They have had plenty of plays on their MySpace page which is nice to see for them. MySpace is great for bands like these to get their music out to the masses.

I really enjoyed reading about this band. I am a fan of devo so if there is some influences here then I would like to hear what they to play and see if there style fits my own. The band name is a little off the wall and long, but that is ok. It makes people remember you.

On the chance I went over to the myspace page to see if they had anything to listen to and they did. Listen to Satin Said Dance. The first impression reminded me more of Oingo Boingo mixed with Devo. The various sounds and instruments.

I have heard a lot about this band and these days I went ahead and borrowed a CD from a friend with some songs, I have to say I liked it, it is a very “rocky” indie music, it is better then most indie bands I have listened too, does anyone know whick bands influenced them?
