The groups have an unusual name for a band. I believe this name will help their band get recognize. This is one way to get some attention on the world of music. I mean this is the first time that I heard any band using Dear as part of there name. I haven’t heard them play but they seem to be on top of everything they do. The confidence is very high. I bet that they will become one of the famous Indie bands that hit their country.

Oh no no, not my style at all. I hate to sound repetitive, but this is what I am talking about with the “nasally and whiny” vocals. I can definitely see these guys having a huge fan base of people who enjoy this style, as they are a pretty tight band. However, it is just way too typical for me and a bit too harsh.

Exactly my point, jgrant. While I do, from time to time, like to stray from more mellow strains of pop/rock and listen to something a bit more edgy, I’d like for the music to not wander from one style to the other TOO much.

I also like to not have to strain my ears and try to make out lyrics amidst “angry-sounding” guitar riffs!

Just my kind of music. A heavy~Ish rock. Not metal, not rock, but somewhere between.
This is great. They seem to swap between metal and rock too much though. It gets confusing, and hard to listen to the lyrics.

I like the review about “Dear Whoever” but I have to say that the band itself is definitely not my cup of tea. I tried to listen to “Say Something Else” but found it way too harsh and “hard rock” for my tastes.

Now, if you enjoy their style, then “Dear Whoever” will definitely rock your world. I tend to go for the more gentle folk-styled indie groups, but you might like your music edgier.

i like the way they style, hope i can find their music, in our industry, because i am looking of a new age of music, its kind a hard to find new genre of music especially rock and emo, wel i am not an emo fan but some of their intrigues my ears to listen to their music, i hope i can find them soon…

I’m looking forward to them heading to Europe – hopefully I’ll get a chance to go somewhere near them and see them in action. The scene near where I am has been pretty poor the past year or so unfortunately

Definitely the grunge style band that hail from upper west coast. They are very interesting and have a style all there own. I am not sure that they are really something I would become accustom to listening to but they are going to find a following.
