Fiction Plane

Fiction PlaneThe news is out, or was out a few weeks ago, that Fiction Plane has come back with a live DVD/CD called Paradiso. The name, of course, comes from the venue in Amsterdam, where Fiction Plane put on a fine performance, according to reviews and reports from audience members. The effort to actually record a live show rather than combine a bunch of songs that were performed live is striking a nice chord with fans old and new.

Band members Joe Sumner, Seton Daunt and Pete Wilhoit have put together a list of 14 songs that are only a part of the video and photo package entitled Paradiso. Production quality was not a problem with work by pros such as Ash Howes and Andy Walters, who have worked with some of the biggest names in music.

Fiction Plane is a veteran group, with touring experience in support of The Police and dates at many music festivals and clubs in Europe. Fans enjoy the physical energy of the band’s shows but the music can stand on its own. At first, the DVD/CD package will be available in France, Belgium and The Netherlands, but people living in other countries can get their hands on Paradiso through http://www.bandstores.co.uk/shop/fictionplane/index.php.

Fiction Plane is one of the best bands around today. Their live performances are NOT to be missed!

This reads strange. It is like the writer rehashed the press release without offering any personal opinion. I question whether or not he or she has even heard the album. In any event, it is still a nice plug for Paradiso.
