I like this guys music…sort of. He’s got a really good pop sensibility. My girlfriend got Whip It from netflix and we watched it last night. He’s not much of an actor (his acting like his music was boarderline cheesy but you could see that a lot of people especially younger girls would probably eat it up), but he’s young and good looking so there’s certainly room for improvement. With his looks and song writing I’m guessing his career could go one of two ways he could turn into a huge lame mtv pop star. Or he could pull a dicaprio and parlay early success based on looks and mass appeal into a respectable artistic career. I personally hope for the latter.
