I am intrigued by the sound "Tears of Technology" has made. They have created a unique blend of different genres to make each track stand apart from the next. I like the fact that the songs are easy going and not too abrasive. The vocal performances our also very melodic and almost sensual. This group is worth looking into if you enjoy a fresh blend of various music styles.

I will be honest to you. I've never, ever enjoyed club music. That has something to do with the role of the music in a club setting. Music in clubs is just another "mood enhancer", if you want to be pompous, and it's loosing something. Music is meant to be a work of art, that's enjoyed with all the participation your brain can muster. In a club, music is just another pill to pop in, for it's not the music that's drawing you there, it's the chicks and the substances and the booze. And club music knows this all too well. It's designed to be like this, repetitive, boring, just a sound setting for what happens there.

Oh, dear. This is one style of music I totally abhor. Not only do I find it monotonous and uninteresting, but it is way too much a fixture of the Miami scene. I've gone to clubs a few times and I've heard "trance" at full eardrum busting blast, and I ALSO remember that Cox Radio, in an attempt to cash in on electronic dance music, bought out the Miami-area classical music radio station to change formats to trance, house, and electronic music.

So, sad to say, this is not a group I shall be listening to....
