I like the bass, but the rest does nothing else for me. The lead singer's voice is mediocre at best, and a few of their songs bored me to tears. Maybe I need to listen to something else besides what is on their Myspace? I really want to like these guys as I think that Seattle brings out some of the best grunge bands ever (could be the water?), but I am just not getting it with This Providence.

"Our World’s Divorce" was worth listening. They had really good tracks in that Album. I was not very much impressed by the Self titled album that was released last year. Phil Cobrea's bass is really cool

The current releases from This Providence is really worth checking out. It's a decent listen, although I tend to only put it on when I'm driving.

Also, I like the current line up - seem to compliment each other well and I for one hope that they stay together long enough to explore there musicality.
