I love these guys. I love the vocals on ” Save Me” and “Welcome to Oblivion” is just beautiful. Listening to them on Myspace has made me a fan. I bet anything these guys would be awesome in concert. I just can’t get over how good the lead singer sounds. He has a youngish voice that can only get better over time. This is brilliant music in my opinion. Well done.

I’ve never heard of Unwritten Law until now. To further educate myself, I went ahead and looked up some of their songs and youtube. I have to agree that Unwritten Law needs to develop their style more, but at least most of their songs are nice and energetic! They need to work on their vocals though. It seems a little monotone to me.

There was a song by Unwritten Law that I actually liked quite some time ago. It was called “Save Me” I believe, and it was always on the radio. That was the first time I really heard from the band, and have not really heard anything since. I thought they had a nice sound, but not something terribly unique.

Unwritten law is the kind of band we see a picture and think “it’s a teens band”, they have a lot to improve, they are a mixture of different styles that have came out to be the thing about this band, and well, you are right on the burn calories thing, there’s no way to be stopped with their songs lol

They have more of a rock sound as opposed to indie though, but they do sound good. I just love new music! I think I already said that. hahaha.

“Welcome To Oblivion” is great. “Seein’ Red” also caught my attention and I enjoyed listening to that.

Thanks again for posting these bands! Great blog! I’ll have to keep an eye on it because you have some good taste in music.

I would be interested in hearing what you are referring to when talking about these guys. I understand what you have written but sometimes that is just the style. So hearing it might give me a better understanding of what you are referring to and why you think it sounds that way. Are you sure it is not just the style of the drummer and they way the songs were intended to be played.

I have never heard of this band before. I have heard a song called Into Oblivion however. I like all of the oblivion songs out there, so perhaps I should find this band’s Myspace and give them a listen. I did notice that the drummer is fast however, hopefully he is also in control. Nothing is worse than a drummer who just beats the heck out of the drums.
