Vivacity
This is an alternative band. Of course, they would do a good song about “Insomnia.” Bands with attitude always grab this fan’s attention, especially those with a young woman who is not afraid to let people know what she thinks. I know, I know, that may sound sexist, but it’s far from that. It’s just that, even in the 21st century, too few women have dismissed their “traditional” place in society as balderdash. Keep up the good work, Maria. “Insomnia” is a good song. I would recommend some of you pick up The Path Begins Here. This EP from the Connecticut band is worth a few consecutive listens. The lineup includes Maria Battinelli- vocals; Gary Fanali – drums; Garrett Hickey – guitar/vocals; Steve Lorusso – bass.
So where can you hear this outfit? Apparently they have been wearing out the ears of listeners all over their home state and surrounding area. They recorded a CD in 2007 that was popular enough for them to put together the current EP. I beg to differ – Don’t close that door. Open it and keep on playing! Nice guitar work, by the way.
